The mystery of Bubbles 04/11/2011
Not many people think about bubbles when thinking about beer! However, bubbles give food the right texture and taste for drinks. Professor Martin Scanlon has been doing research on bubbles and presenting his findings to high schoolersWhen Guinness noticed their numbers decreasing due to more people drinking at home rather than ordering draft beer at a restaurant, they had to come up with a way to distribute their beer in cans. “They went through about six or seven years of trying to get a particular device that would create these bubbles as you depressurized the can, and get (the can) to duplicate what was being served in the pub,” Scanlon explained. “And they did manage to do it. Their sales just went through the roof on the canned product because they were able to do it.” | Need corporate or promotional signage? click the picture to learn more!
