Try A New Marinade for this Holiday Weekend 05/28/2010
If you are going to grill chicken this Holiday Weekend why not try something new! Sam Adams has a Summer Ale Chicken Marinade that is well worth your time. Mix 2 bottles Samuel Adams Summer Ale, 1 tbsp salt, 2 tbsps sugar and half a lemon of juice. Add chicken and marinade for 6 hours. Enjoy! To read the entire article click here. ![]() Miller High Life has come out with a new look. The packaging is chock full of High Life's classic icons such as the girl in the moon, and with it's clean lines High Life is eye catching and fun to look at. Coors makes the old new with their Batch 19 brew this May. This particular beer is possible due to Coor's discovery of a pre-prohibition beer recipe in an archived logbook. It's flavors are bold and hoppy but only available in specific bars in five cities for a limited time. So if you want a taste of a beer which originates before 1919 hurry in and give it a try! This year's can describe 140 different styles of beer, at least four categories have been added including American-style porters and American-style India Black Ales. Guinness Takes a look at a few new brews 05/14/2010
Guinness has announced some exciting news as to a few Guinness Line extensions in the works. Guinness has a Guinness Foreign Extra Stout (reviewed on BeerAdvocate, see the A- review Here) which is currently being tested in New York and Atlanta. The Foreign Extra Stout has a higher ABV (around 7.5) and they believe will be attractive to both Guinness and craft beer enthusiasts. Brewers Association announced the Craft brewers sales numbers earlier this month for the 2009 year. It was a good year for Craft brewers as their sales increased over 7 percent over the prior year while other brewers ran into a slower year in sales. The number of craft brewers have also increased over years prior to total at 1,542 brewers in the year 2009.
