Oakland Tribute writer Jay Brooks wrote an article on Wednesday the 23rd of December that offered some insight into what beers one may want to choose to accompany the standard holiday meals. He covers Ham, Fowl, and Roast Beast and cites several beer choices for each. For Ham Brooks recommends most affectionately a Belgian-style Golden, or a Belgian Style Dubbel. Fowl, he says begs for a subtly spiced beer while Roast Beast deserves a delicately balanced hoppy beer.
