Brewers Association announced the Craft brewers sales numbers earlier this month for the 2009 year. It was a good year for Craft brewers as their sales increased over 7 percent over the prior year while other brewers ran into a slower year in sales.
The number of craft brewers have also increased over years prior to total at 1,542 brewers in the year 2009.
